Teaching the German Accusative and Dative Cases with the tenets of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT; not to be confused with Community Language Learning!) and how this method is responsive to the unique and varied needs arising for different students in different contextual conditions.
Please see detailed instructions for this assignment attached. File name: “PT and CPR instructions”
This is part of my teaching internship class. I will be teaching 3 classes over the course of this semester at the University of South Florida German Department. Two lesson plans are provided. I will add the third one as soon as I’m done with it. But for now, all needed material should be provided. Please let me know if you need anything else.
Sample papers are provided in the attachment.
There are two parts to this assignment:
1. Pedagogical Theory
2. Classroom Practice and Reflection
I use the file “What’s Up – Conversational Phrases” to prepare my students in role play scenarios for real-life situations. They absolutely love it.
I am also attaching all relevant screenshots about the dative and accusative cases from the textbook “Sag Mal” as well as a review of the book.
