At the end of the semester students will turn in a complete literature review of 7-10 articles they have found and read on a topic of their choosing, within the field of medical sociology. It may be a topic covered in class, that the student wishes to learn more about, or it could be a unique topic. There are four parts to the overall process, and each has a separate grade.

Using your Dartmouth Microsystem Assessment, select a “Metric that Matters” from your microsystem assessment and/or reassessment to benchmark in your workplace. Provide a descriiption of the opportunity for improvement you selected. How is baseline data collected? How will you know the organization is meeting the desired goals for improvement?
In this discussion, explain how the PDSA Worksheet (Plan-Do-Study-Act = rapid-cycle testing) might help your team to assess whether a change leads to improvement using such a methodical learning process.
Comment on how many PDSA cycles you envision. When do you stop the rapid cycle testing?
Your comments are to include an APA in-text citations and a Reference List. Source material is to be integrated into the comments. Comments are to use sources found from a literature review, not solely on textbooks for the course.

Class,
Many students aren’t sure how to start looking at their runoff and then how to portray that runoff on a map. I’ve put together a few examples of how you can do this. The first attachment is just a repeat of the syllabus assignment. The second is a word document that shows different methods of portraying your runoff. The third (Landscape Drainage Map) is a depiction of contours so you can determine your drainage. This contour map was generated through my local GIS capabilities (Municipal GIS). Most cities and/or counties have great GIS capabilities now so check out this option.
Here are some other links that previous students have found helpful:
Link to rainfall data:
https://en.climate-data.org/north-america/united-states-of-america/virginia/reston-768047/t/november-11/#climate-table-month
The above site has information on other countries too.
Freemaptools.com will give you distance and area, elevations, area.
Googleearth.com will give you satellite views.
Keep in mind that the requirement is to analyze a park.

Although you are encourated to read the entire book, at a minimum read the following selections:
Letters 2-3 (pp. 1-62)
Letter 7 (pp. 135-153)
Letter 9 (pp. 175-19)
Response (pp. 216-227)

Write a response to these selections (or the entire book) that addresses one or more of the following questions:
• Did Halevi address all the necessary historical conditions about the Israel-Palestine conflict?
• How might they be different from the viewpoints presented in Lemon Tree?
• Judging by the responses of his Palestinian readers (those in Epilogue), how successful is Halevi’s attempt to “reach out to his neighbour”?

The review should be a minimum of 750 words in length. Shorter responses will not get full credit. Use evidence from the book to illustrate your points and in-line citations. Your response need not have an argument, conclusion, or other components of more formal assignments such as the two papers.

As a starting point for your essay, come up with a point of comparison that you want to develop into an argument about two plays that we have read in this class. A point of comparison is some element that these two plays share but handle different. A strong point of comparison allows you to
explore both the overlaps, and the differences, between two plays.
NOTE: When picking your plays, keep in mind that
(1) you may not write on the play you focused on in major paper #1 and
(2) you must write on at least one of the plays from the second half of the course: The Roaring Girl, Duchess of Malfi, and The Witch of Edmonton. You may pair one of these with an
earlier play, or you may write on two of these plays.
{ Prep work: which of the following points of comparison do you think might make for a strong paper? Which feels really fresh and original? Which feels really obvious? Which feels too broad?
– Power in Tamburlaine and The Duchess of Malfi
– Clothing in Galatea and The Roaring Girl
– Female alliances in The Roaring Girl and Duchess of Malfi : Moll + Mary Fitzallard and the Duchess +
Cariola
– Male friends who offer advice and bear witness to their friends’ suffering: Franklin and Delio
– What are dogs (and wolves) doing here?! Canine transformations in Duchess and The Witch of
Edmonton}
Take a moment to brainstorm. What plays do you most want to focus on?
What do you think your point of comparison will be?
Can you make your point of comparison more specific? More striking and original?
The paper asks you to think about significant differences, as well as similarities. What differences between your plays does your point of comparison lead you to think about?
Once you’ve settled on your original, specific, eye-opening point of comparison, you’ll get to work on your paper, which should contain:
(1) a strong claim, supported by
(2) evidence from the text, and
(3) your analysis of that evidence
As a reminder, a main claim or thesis puts forward an argument about a text. A strong main claim is
always: specific, non-obvious, provocative, arguable, analytical, and about the text.
Weak main claims tend to be: general, obvious, non-controversial, judgmental, or about the world
“in general” rather than a specific text.

In the assessment, include the assumptions that are related to these programs, if these assumptions are justified, and the rationale as to why the public doesn’t support diversion programs. In the essay discuss some of the assumptions that are basic to delinquency prevention and diversion programs. To what extent do each of these assumptions feel justified? Why is the public often unwilling to finance these prevention programs and what are the consequences of this?
1000-1100 words, no more no less. The professor penalizes for less than 1000 words and more than 1100 words.

This is a final exam in a essay format. I need a essay written on how the charter relates to indigenous people and their rights in Canada (NOT USA) You must incorporate ingenious politics (Canada only). I have attached a word document with cases and articles from my class readings that must be used to help strengthen your points.
DO NOT CITE ANYTHING YOU USE! This is like a closed book essay, you do not need citations or anything, just reference the author and their idea as if you are going off of memory. The major focus is on what you think about the charter and how it impacts indigenous lives in canada. (Please use at least 2-3 readings as support to help your arguments. Do not use any outside sources except for the ones I have attached on the word document.
